Integrative Therapy Sessions

General overview

I offer 50-minute sessions in either my Zürich or Baden-based practice, a location of your choice or online. The first introductory consultation is free of charge. It is important to feel an initial sense of comfort and trust with your choice of therapist. We will briefly discuss your issues and may go through therapies suited to your needs. We review hopes for the outcome of the therapy sessions and goals to work towards. For therapy to have a positive effect, it is usual for a client to commit to 5-6 sessions. Treatment will be reviewed after this initial period to decide if more is required.

IN-HOUSE, ONLINE OR AT HOME SESSIONS

Based on the information provided, an individual integrative therapy programme is tailored, taking into account your personal issues and needs.

In a safe and nonjudgemental environment, sessions are designed to give you clarity about the issues you face. Having an opportunity to be understood, validated and forgiven enables growth in self-confidence to make changes, embrace challenges, and see new perspectives.  Progress will be reviewed to decide if more sessions are needed, which continue until you feel the desired goals have been achieved.

WALK & TALK THERAPY

Some people find it easier to open up and talk about their issues when outdoors or walking. Limiting therapy to the confines of a room or a computer screen can sometimes be counter-productive in certain individuals. Having the freedom to explore your issues while out in nature, walking by the lake or in a park, for example, can open the door to a better flow of communication.  I am a certified Walk & Talk therapist, and as with indoor sessions, outdoor sessions are tailor-made to fit the individual and their personal issues.

IN-HOUSE TRAININGS FOR EDUCATORS & PARENTS

Using The Circle of Security Principles (COSP)  and as a COSP-trained Classroom Facilitator for Early Years Professionals and a COSP-trained Facilitator for Parents,  I offer in-house training programmes to parent groups, teachers and schools. COSP training utilises theory and knowledge of human behaviour from attachment theory, social learning, family systems theory and early childhood development. It provides early years professionals and parents with knowledge, understanding, and strategies to work with children's social-emotional and developmental needs in group care settings.

Trainings are tailor-made to client needs and priced accordingly.
